Thermoplastic Housings for Multipole Connectors

ITC, the Canadian Distributor for the ILME brand of high quality multipole connectors for industrial applications, is pleased to announce that the new non-metallic enclosures for the most popular sizes of connectors are now available. With a solution for the food and pharmaceutical industries in particular focus, ILME can now provide bulkhead bases, surface mount bases, and top or side entry hoods in a patented, non-corrosive two-stage thermoplastic resin that is both impermeable and robust for the most aggressive wash-down environments. Add to the quality the fact that non-metallic housings will be available at 15% less cost versus their aluminium counterparts, and this system seems destined to take a foothold in the rectangular connector market. Available in size 6, 10, 16, and 24 housings that will accommodate 6 to 120 pole inserts, these products will be available in Canada exclusively from ITC beginning in November 2009.
