Two new hand hydraulic crimping tools for use with large non-insulated terminals ('power lugs') - 10 to 400 mm2 (8 AWG to 750 MCM) - have recently been added to the lineup of tools available from stock at ITC.
The new tool 240R (ITC Part No. 502.551K) is a 5 ton / 52kN manual-hydraulic tool, which uses interchangeable dies from 10 to 240mm2 (8AWG to 500 MCM). It is supplied in a sturdy plastic case, without dies, which can be purchased separately, as single items or as a complete set of 7.
Punch/Die Sets for Rectangular Connectors

With the addition of 3 new models, ITC now has a complete series of Punch/Die sets designed to punch square/rectangular holes in mild steel plate (up to 3.0mm thickness), of the exact dimensions of any of the popular multipole industrial connectors on the market.
Cut-outs made with these die sets guarantee precise and constant dimensions, and the operation is faster, safer than using a drill and/or a saw. No burrs or sharp edges are present along the cuts.
30mm Metal Control and Signalling Devices

ITC has added to its line of 22.5mm control devices, a family of 30mm models. These larger components are still popular in panels – for example – in the automotive industry, and as replacement items.
Each device comprises an actuator and at least one contact.
Insulated jumpers (busbars) for Fuse Holders and Circuit Breakers

New 22.5mm Joysticks

ITC introduces the ECX4500 line of panel Joysticks, for mounting in a 22.5mm cut-out. This family consists of 21 different models - 10 of them with a short lever (55mm total) and 10 with a long lever (79mm), plus a wobble-joystick.
They can be supplied with different operation modes:
- "Zero" plus one position, maintained or non-maintained
- "Zero" plus two positions, maintained or non-maintained
- "Zero" plus four positions, maintained or non-maintained
The 55 and 79mm joysticks are supplied with a mounting collar and the appropriate number of contact blocks, already mounted.

As required by North American Standards and Electric codes, each individual Motor Branch Circuit must be protected by a Fuse, Circuit Breaker or by a Self-protected Combination controller. The new 32A “Ex9S32” provides these protections, and can be used in both “Type E” or “Type F” (coupled with contactor) combinations.

Safety Door Interlock Switch 'SLC'

A new generation of safety mechanical interlock switches, 'SLC' is being introduced by BERNSTEIN in Germany, and distributed by ITC in Canada.
These switches provide robust electro-mechanical locking of doors, covers, protection grilles, etc., while also remote monitoring access status and offering optional emergency opening from inside or outside the enclosure.
SLC switches feature a sturdy thermoplastic body and a metal head, designed to accept entry from 4 sides and from top (user-configurable) of the corresponding 'key' actuator. There are 2 types of operation possible: 'power-to-unlock' (the internal solenoid is powered to unlock)or 'power-to-lock' (lock is released when power is cut). A safety release operated by a screwdriver is present on the front (exterior of enclosure); optionally, this can be modified into an accessory handle. Inside the enclosure, an optional escape release handle enables immediate opening in case of emergency.
