Cable Ties now classified “Type 21S” by UL

Cable Ties
Since last June, all models (natural and black) rated 50lbs and 120lbs of our CABLE TIES have obtained from UL the classification “Type 21S” and at the same time are now certified for installation at -20˚C.

 

With the publication of UL 62275, Cable ties for electrical installations, a set of new “type” designations for cable ties and fixing devices has been introduced.  In particular, the designation “Type 21S” include the recognition of certain performance criteria, as well as the recognition of the raw material used for molding.  In practice, “Type 21S” defines products suitable to support flexible metal conduits and cables in construction, in accordance with the applicable installation codes.
