90 degrees cable glands, also called elbow glands, are ideal for applications where entry of a cable or wire into the wall of a machine or a panel must be parallel to its surface, because of space limitations or for additional protection against excessive bending of cables, possible entry of water, dust, etc….
ITC stocks a full line of polyamide elbow glands, with NPT thread (3/8”, ½”, ¾”, 1-1/4”) as well as Pg7 and Pg9 threads. In metric sizes, ITC offers ‘Elbow connectors’ - 90 degree connecting components made of reinforced polyamide, with one male and one female metric threads. These must be coupled with one corresponding standard gland, to obtain the complete elbow gland. Available form M16 to M40 sizes.
Elbow glands can be used in combination with standard plastic or metal locknuts and if required, optional gasket seals, o-rings, multi-hole seals.
