Greenhouse

Natural light frequently cannot provide enough light for crops to grow to their full potential. As a result, horticultural artificial lighting and greenhouse lighting are nowadays an essential part of agribusiness. Producers of vegetables, fruits, flowers, and cannabis in indoors facilities now rely on LED lighting to optimize health and growth of their crops, by supplying the precise quantity and quality of light, directly on their plants.

The high number of modern LED fixtures now required in these horticultural installations, created the need for practical and cost effective supply and distribution of power to these fixtures.

This has led to the development of connectors which offer high ingress protection (IP68), ease of installation and low cost. Such connectors allow daisy-chain installation of multiple fixtures while maintaining the high protection to the ingress of water, primarily attributable to the quality of precision engineered polymeric gaskets and compression glands.

The TEEPLUG series of connectors by TECHNO are used in many greenhouse installations around the world, as well as in architectural lighting, underground power distribution, naval applications, etc..
