Nylon (polyamide) insulated disconnect terminals (male/female) are used in a variety of applications, including harnesses, automotive, electronics, etc.. The terminal is made of brass, nickel plated, while the nylon insulation provides better mechanical stability and higher temperature rating than the vinyl models.
