The new CA enclosures manufactured in Germany by BERNSTEIN and distributed in Canada exclusively by ITC are designed to contain and protect sensitive electrical, electronic, control and pneumatic components, even in harsh environments. They are made of diecast aluminum (Al Si 12), with factory-injected seal of polyurethane, offering IP66 ingress protection (optionally IP67) and excellent resistance to salt water and most chemical products. They are also suited for use in potentially explosive atmosphere.
The available sizes range from 50x45x30mm (~2x1.8x2") to 600x310x180mm (~24x12x7") in 35 size models. Powder coating (Grey RAL 7001) is standard, with special colors upon request. Operating temperature is from -40 to 100°C. Accessories include back plates, mounting brackets, hinges, etc.
Approvals include UL, ATEX, Germanischer Lloyd.
