ITC presents a complete line of Filtered Fans and Vents as manufactured by DBK Thermal Management UK.
Filter Fans are suitable for use in electrical cabinets and enclosures in which excessive heat develops due to the high density of equipment. Overheating can cause damage to the components inside.
Properly selected fans and vents circulate air through the enclosure by drawing in cooler air from the outside and forcing warm air out.
Typically the fan installs near the side bottom of the cabinet so that the incoming air can rise and thus dissipate the heat produced by the electrical components.
The vent is installed on the opposite side near the top of the cabinet. Rail-mounted thermostats are available as accessories.
Five sizes of filter fans and vents are available with ranges up to almost 600cfm. The standard product is rated IP54 with a filter option for IP55.
Three standard voltages are stocked, 24vdc, 120vac and 240vac. The fan snaps into the panel opening without the need for mounting screws and sealed to the cabinet with a full polyurethane foam bead.
Filters can be replaced from the outside with no need to open the enclosure doors.
Typical uses of this product include; ATM enclosures, Traffic Control enclosures, CCTV boxes, Scientific, Military and Instrumentation enclosures, Telecom cabinets, Industrial control panels.
