Type MSD terminal blocks for printed circuit board have the smallest pitch available on the market (2.54mm = 1/10").
The main feature of this series of high quality printed circuit board (PCB) terminal blocks is their small size. They are ideally suited for all applications where an extremely small footprint is required, while
maintaining high level of reliability, electrical characteristics and ease of installation. Block height is only 10mm, yet they are rated (UL/CSA) 150V, 10A, 16AWG max (type 04, one wire clamp per pitch=2.54mm), or 300V, 10A, 16AWG max (type 05, one wire clamp every second pitch = 5.08mm). Insulation is polyamide 6.6 (PA66), green, halogen-free, UL94V0; all conductive components are iron-free, screw and clamp made of nickel-plated copper alloy, and pin made of easy-solder, lead-free tin-plated copper.
Available models, in single-molded units, are from 2 to 12 poles for type 04 (2.54mm pitch), and 2 to 6 poles for type 05 (5.08mm pitch). These blocks are UL, CSA, VDE certified, carry the CE-mark and are RoHS compliant. Operating temperature is from -40°C to 110°C. Maximum PCB thickness is 2.4mm (.094"), and pin hole diameter 1.1mm(.043").
