The new GEOS enclosures and its accessories, manufactured by SPELSBERG of Germany, have been designed for industrial applications, in particular to be used OUTDOORS.

- TOUGH: Enclosures are made of polycarbonate, UV resistant, high impact resistant (IK09), high ingress protection (IP66/ IP67), wide temperature range (-35 to +60°C), humidity rating 95% at +25°C, or 50% at +40°C, excellent flammability rating (UL94 V2 - 960°C), excellent resistance to most chemical products. cULus listed!
- SAFE: patented protection against water accumulation, and double insulated.

With regards to protection against ingress of water, the design - based on the material used (over-molded elastomer) and on the particular design of the overlapping cover - diverts moisture (rain, snow, spray) towards the rear of the enclosure.
As for ventilation, the Bel-Air system (a new patented device) is designed to solve or mitigate the problem of water condensation inside an enclosure which is exposed to frequent temperature changes. To prevent the access and accumilation of water (or moisture) inside the enclosure, it is advisable to ensure continuous air exchange between the interior of the enclosure and the ambient. While many devices have been used to this purpose (ventilation plugs, ventilation glands), the BEL-Air has been designed to allow air circulation, prevent condensation, maintain 100% pressure compensation, prevent the entry of foreign objects, at the same time maintaining an IP65 rating. The BEL-Air is made of polycarbonate UL94V0, is rated IP65, NEMA-3R, IK08, and is cULus certified.
