ITC now offers a convenient kit containing 20 types of the most common vinyl insulated crimp (solderless) terminals [22 to 10AWG (0.5mm² to 6mm²)]. These are presented in a sturdy, steel case 345x254x43mm (13.6” x 10” x 1.7”) with internal compartments designed for easy pickup of small parts. All ITC’s terminals are cULus certified. The kit is offered in two versions: one without a crimping tool, one with the universal “Series 800” crimping tool, which can also accept a wide range of available different dies for other types of terminals (open barrel, ferrules, flag terminals, etc.).

The new kit is a practical, economical solution for most electrical shops, contractors, labs, etc.

New, Larger Unit Joins the Family of ITC's Portable DIN Rail Cutters

The family of the popular portable “HANDY-CUT” DIN rail cutters by ITC is now joined by a new model, designed to cut the heavy-duty 35x15mm steel DIN rail. Similar to the smaller models – one which cuts the common 35x7.5mm rail, the other the “miniature” 15x5.5mm rail – the new unit just introduced can be operated manually, without permanent mounting on a workbench.

Even with its reduced dimensions (606x115x80mm) and weight (4.5 kg), the new tool allows cutting of solid and pre-punched rails without effort, obtaining a perfect straight cut without burrs each time.

Two-hand pushbutton control station

Model PB-20 is a free-standing pushbutton control station, designed to accommodate two or more pushbuttons and optional foot switches, and to be operated with two hands for safety purposes.

The system is composed of a steel base with a tubular pillar with adjustable height, a steel enclosure with pre-drilled 22.5mm holes and pushbutton guards (to be mounted on top of the pillar), and an optional steel protection “ring”. The base has pre-set holes for mounting one or two foot switches, and for securing to the floor.

Pushbuttons and foot switches are not included in the set.

A variation of the standard model (PB-2030) is constituted of an identical steel control station, to be mounted on a cabinet or on a wall (without base and pillar).

High Density CDS Spring Contact 10A Inserts

The family of multipole industrial connectors, manufactured by ILME and available from ITC, now includes the new CDS line of 10A spring-contact inserts, which provide up to 80% more terminals than the popular 16A screw inserts, using the same housings (generally known as size 6, 10, 16, 24, 32 and 48 housings).

To be more precise, the CDS inserts are available with 9 poles for housings size 6 (a 50% gain in density); 18 poles in housings size 10 (80% gain); 27 poles is size 16 (70% gain); 42 poles in size 24 (75% gain); 54 poles in size 32 (70% gain), and 84 poles in size 48 (75% gain).

Professional cable shears

ITC offers a wide range of professional manual shears and ratchet cutters for most types of wire and cable, from 22AWG to 1900MCM. These include micro-cutters and side-cutters for electronic and general control cables (22-10AWG), medium and heavy-duty shears with simple lever action, for cables 8AWG to 100MCM, and heavy-duty to extra-heavy-duty ratchet-type cable cutters (3 models, max. 600, 1000 and 1900MCM respectively).
